Banks are Lending

Ok, so I have your attention!! Its true some larger banks are lending but you better build in 2-3 mths from the date of signed docs. And the scam is the sellers(bank owned properties) are doing whatever they can to make up for thier screw ups. Watch out for the big banks and thier penalty clauses.

Folks we are all tired of the sluggish economy and I am not confidant we are out of it anytime soon.

So as I was listening to the State of the State I couldn't help but think that it is the same old story! No where did I see concrete evidence that we will see a positive turn around in the job creation department for anyone living outside of Detroit area! We need help in rural Michigan!

Ok, So I miss Sarah Palin, selling $150,000 homes and the day that clients will treat us professionally like they do thier accountant and attorney!! How can the bean counters even consider that low mortgage rates will help the economy.. JOBS will help us but we are at fault! We as investor want what.... A large return! Which means businesses have to improve thier bottom line and to do this they can not operate with the current roadblocks such as labor, unions, and lazy people!! Any one ever hear if Jaraz, Mexico 20 years ago! Now it is the mecca of industry!! Recall NAFTA, Change Term Limits. And require anyone running for office to have a degree in business.

Real Estate BOOM

Well Lehman Brothers is gone who else is to follow!! My guess is we are looking at two more quarters of down turn in the real estate market and then watch out! Rates are only going to get better!! Hang in there and remember Eagle Realty agents are licensed to list and sell in the State of Michigan

Housing Market!!! Buy,Sell or Wait!!

Every Market is Different!! Well as I write this many of our local markets are seeing improvements in the housing market and we may reached the upturn from the past few months of low demand and high supply. However, one thing I can not emphasis enough is if you haven't established a relationship with a mortgage officer you may have problems when it comes to writing an offer and being pre-qualified.

Don't be so convinced if the mortgage officer agrees to send a prequal letter before they even taken down financial info,debt info and you authorize them to run your credit!
